The background

Joseph & Maia are an alt-folk duo from Tauranga, New Zealand, who spent years busking and touring across Europe, for a time based in Amsterdam. Their 2015 debut album Sorrento produced the breakout track Sleep, and later releases include the album Fear and the 2019 single Amsterdam.
